one of the attractions of Pura Mengening is its beautiful architecture. Consisting of 3 parts (tri mandala), namely nista mandala, madya mandala and utama mandala. Many tourists use the ancient carvings in this temple as a photo background.

1. Nista Mandala

In this area there is a park which is a place of purification for Ida Batara. In several places there are also tirthas that are usually taken by the community. These tirthas include tirtha Keben, tirtha Melela, tirtha Megelung, tirtha Sudamala, tirtha Tunggang, tirtha Soka, and tirtha Telaga Waja.

2. Madya Mandala

Madya mandala is the central area (jaba tengah) which is a place of Hindu activities. This area has several buildings, such as Bale Kulkul, Bale Pegambahan, Bale Gong and Bale Pegat.

3. Utama Mandala

Utama mandala is the most sacred area because it is used as a place of worship. In this area there are several shrines, such as the shrine of Batara Gunung Kawi, the Meru Tumpang Tiga Building of the palace of Ida Batara Prasada Agung, the shrine of Batara Tirta Empul, Pemaruman, the Limas Building, the Bale Saka Ulu, the Bale Paselang, the Bale Pecanangan, the Bale Penganteb and the shrine of Batara Siwa.
